A new drink is in town at Starbucks. They are introducing a Refreshers Drink: Very Berry Hibiscus. There is also a Very Lime flavor.
Starbucks is using an innovative process to pull the naturally occurring caffeine and other good stuff from 100% green arabica coffee beans before they are roasted. The result is Green Coffee Extract – the natural energy from coffee, but with none of the coffee flavor

I try to get some form of physical activity in every day, whether it be an afternoon walk or a morning spin class. Carol Welch said, “Movement is a medicine for creating change in a person’s physical, emotional, and mental states.” I can truly relate to that statement.
Having been on vacation, it is not always easy to squeeze in time to do a quick workout because you don’t have a local gym or your hotel gym hours may be limited. For reasons like this, I enjoy a good online video workout. One of my favorite ones that I have come across is the Pop Pilates Series created by Cassie at Blogilates. They are fast, fun, and get you fit!
One video session I always tune in to is: Pop Pilates! Intense Ab Workout
Another cool thing Cassie is doing is a monthly Workout Calendar. Below you can see what she put together for the month of June. You can sign up for her newsletter to keep informed!
At first, I used to use this recipe for when I was in a rush and wanted something savory, but now I use my garlic shrimp recipe regularly! It is great with quinoa, roasted veggies, pasta, and many more things! Tonight, I made a colorful salad. Another perk about this recipe is it takes 5 minutes to make!
Garlic Shrimp
To prepare the seasoning, peel the garlic and finely chop and place in a large saute pan with the olive oil. Cook over medium-high heat for 30 seconds. Add the shrimp, lemon juice, and Completo Sazon and cook, stirring frequently, for 3 to 4 minutes, until the shrimp turn pink and curl slightly. Place atop whatever side you like! Voila! How easy is that?
EVOL = LOVE backwards, duh. Ever feel rushed in the morning? Yep, that’s my morning, every morning. While I am good and prepare food for work the night before; sometimes, I don’t. Oops. Looking to frozen food as a substitute for lunch does not seem like the ideal choice; however, I have found the most AMAZING frozen meal.
Not only is it so easy to make but it is 250 calories and delicious. I highly recommend it during for those crazy morning rushes!

Having branched out to find some of the healthy dining options, a friend suggested The Last Carrot. Upon arriving to its cozy little location, I could not believe I’d never step foot in it before; I went to high school 3 blocks away for four years! It is amazing how you just pass by some things sometimes. Everyone’s food looked delicious; I stopped in for a smoothie and was absolutely in love with the outcome. Everything used is 100% natural. I must say that if you are short on time, this is not the place to go to. I definitely recommend trying it out though!
